Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CrewLink (the "Service"), operated by IT Genie SA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CrewLink is a platform for car crews and enthusiasts to manage clubs, organise events, showcase vehicle builds, and connect with the automotive community in South Africa. The Service includes our website, progressive web application, and any associated features.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Conduct

When using CrewLink, you agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload malicious code, spam, or unsolicited promotions
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Use the platform to promote illegal street racing or dangerous driving
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without permission

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on CrewLink (photos, text, build updates, etc.). By posting content, you grant CrewLink a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Service.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.

6. Crew Management

• Crew owners and administrators are responsible for managing their crew's members and content.
• Crew admins must ensure events organised through CrewLink comply with local laws and regulations.
• CrewLink is not responsible for actions taken by crews or their members at events.

7. Intellectual Property

The CrewLink name, logo, and all associated branding, design, and code are the intellectual property of IT Genie SA. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, IT Genie SA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, revenue, or reputation.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
